Following the convening of the Selection Committee for the Official Master's Degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Production (MPXA), which comprises Teresa Nozal Canterero, José Francisco Sánchez Sánchez, María José Lanzo Baliña, Ramón Salaverría, Tomás García Morán, and Germán Martínez Suárez, the provisional lists of places awarded to Spanish and foreign students, as well as the waiting lists for both specialties for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year, are hereby published.

CHANGE OF AVC DEGREE

The UDC's Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication is being modified to significantly change its educational structure. This update reflects our commitment to providing education that adapts to the current needs of the sector and emerging professional profiles. Our aim is to continue improving the quality of education that our students receive.

The new curriculum seeks to reinforce the practical dimension, update content and encourage specialisation, thus responding to the demands of the labour market and society. It demonstrates our firm commitment to training professionals with a comprehensive and versatile vision of the audiovisual field.

The new plan will be implemented progressively according to the following schedule:

2025-2026 academic year: 1st year
2026-2027 academic year: 1st and 2nd years
2027-2028 academic year: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years
2028-2029 academic year: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years

The Faculty of Communication Sciences would like to thank the students for their trust, and we will continue to work hard to provide a leading degree programme in the field of audiovisual studies.

As part of the Annual Planning Procedure for English Friendly Courses, the list of subjects and teaching staff offering courses in this modality at the Faculty of Communication Sciences for the upcoming academic year is now available.

The proposal, which was approved on 25 June 2025 by the Faculty Board, reflects the Faculty’s commitment to internationalization and to promoting the use of English as a support language in teaching.

TRANSFER OF ACADEMIC RECORDS

The Universidade da Coruña has opened the application period for admission by transfer from other universities or from official Spanish and foreign university studies for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Interested applicants may submit their request from July 1 to July 10, 2025.

The required documentation must be submitted to the Integrated Academic Management Unit (UXAI Sociology / Communication Sciences) or sent by email to uxai.socom@udc.es within the indicated period.

El martes, 12 de noviembre, a las 15h (aula 2) y el jueves, 14 de noviembre, a las 14h (aula 4) se llevarán reuniones informativas de las becas de movilidad.

El alumnado podrá acudir en el horario que mejor encaje en su planificación de asignaturas. En estas charlas se resolverán todas las dudas que puedan surgir sobre las becas de movilidad nacional (SICUE) e internacional (ERASMUS y Bilateral).
